Homeschool Music Explorers
Give your child a joyful introduction to the world of music through singing, movement, rhythm, instruments, and hands-on learning.
Music Explorers is a 12-week homeschool enrichment class designed to help students build a strong musical foundation while developing creativity, confidence, listening skills, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Each week, students will participate in engaging activities that introduce core musical concepts in a fun and age-appropriate way. Through games, singing, movement, rhythm exercises, instrument exploration, and guided listening activities, students will discover how music works while enjoying the social experience of learning alongside their peers. No previous musical experience is required.
What Students Will Learn
Music Theory Fundamentals
Students build a strong foundation by exploring basic music theory and core musical concepts.
Rhythm & Beat Recognition
Engaging rhythm exercises help students develop a natural sense of timing and steady beat.
Musical Listening Skills
Guided activities introduce students to how music works through attentive and active listening.
Singing & Vocal Expression
Children discover their unique voices through age-appropriate singing and vocal exploration.
Music Appreciation
Exposure to different styles of music builds a broad understanding and lifelong appreciation.
Instrument Exploration
Hands-on learning using a variety of percussion instruments to discover sounds and textures.
Creativity & Self-Expression
Students develop their creative confidence through musical games and expressive movement.
Performance & Confidence
Showcase skills during a special end-of-session performance for family and friends.
